An existing one story restaurant was scheduled to be renovated into a two story Ballet Center. After removing the roof, existing structural damage was identified and it was determined to demo the entire building and start with a new foundation. The new building is 2 story, 6500 SF per floor, with first floor 10’ ceilings, and second floor 20’ ceilings. We worked closely with the architect and owner on this design build project. The project began as a structural steel building and later changed to a metal stud building. Contract Amount: $1,040,000
Notable activities included:
· Demo entire existing 6000 SF restaurant
· Sheetrock removed by asbestos contractor
· Frame building with structural light gauge metal studs
· Sprinkler and fire alarm systems
· Sound and security systems
· Commercial elevator
· Conventional stucco exterior
· Construct ballet sprung floors in three ballet rooms
