Hurricane Renovation Projects include:
The Breakers of Fort Walton Beach,
Sliding Glass Door Replacement
Activities Included:
Installation of 265 new sliding glass doors in a six story, 184 unit, two
building residential condominium complex. The
sliding glass doors were commercial series EFCO doors and included the full
waterproofing of the door perimeter.
November
2006 – July 2007. Total installation labor cost $388,000, total project cost
$2,000,000.
Commodore’s Landing Owner’s Association,
Hurricane Ivan Repairs.
Activities Included: Full interior
and exterior renovation of a 54 unit, 5 building residential condominium
complex. Activities included: remove
and replace all exterior side walls including removal of all sheating, replacing
any damaged studs, replace with new sheathing and three part conventional
stucco. All interior drywall damage
was removed and replaced with new drywall, textured and painted.
All door openings that were damaged were either repaired or demolished
and replaced with new studs and headers. All
missing and damaged fascia and soffit was removed and replaced with new
materials to match existing. Any
electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems that were damaged from the hurricane were
repaired or replaced.
January
2006 – September 2006, Total cost $272,642
Hunnicutt Insurance,
Hurricane Ivan Repairs.
Activites Included: Full
demolition of the existing interior office space.
All new metal stud walls to accommodate offices, reception area,
conference room, bathrooms etc…. All
new sheetrock, texture, paint, tile laid on a diagonal throughout, acoustical
ceiling (including all new track). All
new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
September
2005 – December 2005. Total cost
$60,000.
